The 14th OVI participated in the first annual Skirmish at Walker Tavern July 23 - 25. Beautiful weather and a nice location, combined with an authentic minded event made for a great weekend of Civil War reenacting. We had a terrific tactical in the woods on Saturday morning and one battle in the afternoon both Saturday and Sunday. The 14th OVI was also fortunate enough to win the company drill competition on Sunday. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did and maybe learned a thing or two along the way.
