The 3rd Arkansas once again fought at Gettysburg July 2 - 4, 2004. About 15 members were in attendance for the battles with most in dog tents or campaigning. As far as I could tell, we were the only unit campaigning in the entire CSA camp. The weather was hot and muggy but cooled down nicely in the evening. Picketts charge was the high point of the reenactment and a joy to participate in.
